According to reports, the Celtics are interested in Nets forward Thaddeus Young.
Young is averaging nearly a double-double this season with Brooklyn with 15.1 points and 9.1 rebounds per game this season.
The 27 year old is playing in his 8th season in the NBA out of Georgia Tech and would probably cost the Celtics either Jared Sullinger or Tyler Zeller along with maybe a low level first round pick.
I think Young makes a lot of sense for the Cs and could be a valuable asset down the stretch. His style of play is perfect in the era in which he plays in. At 6’8 his teams can play small ball and go up-tempo.
The Nets, as of today, just hired Sean Marks to be their general manager. Quite the first day on the job…
